Are you planning an extension? Possibly a redesign of the layout of your Home or maybe a loft conversion? Even building a property from scratch? Use iSurveyor.com to provide contacts and estimates for the design work involved.

When choosing whether an Architect, or an Architectural designer is best for your building works, consider the size of the project and the complexity. As the project size increases, it is likely that the property expert will need greater skills and qualifications as well as prior relevant experience. As you discuss your plans with the contacts made via iSurveyor.com they will make it clear what level of skilled Architectural involvement is needed.

Once you have chosen your property expert from the list (and you may of course contact more than one of them), once contacted they will be able to help you get a clearer understanding of what you need or want from the project, and indeed what are the key priorities and the possible restrictions within that remit. Consideration will need to be given as to the requirements of the local planning authorities, possible limitations of the existing building or site, and other regulatory requirements. Historic buildings will also have further requirements and permissions that will need to be taken into consideration, planning applications, party wall issues, and sourcing builders and contractors to undertake the work would also be looked at by the Architect or Architectural Designer. Some suppliers will also provide management services to oversee the whole project if required.

An Architect, or professional providing an Architectural Design service should have relevant experience of producing quality and where appropriate innovative designs for a wide variety of conditions. To assist in your choice of which survey is appropriate for your property purchase, speak directly to an Architect from the local area. To find Architect in your local area please complete the Surveyor request form above, once sent to Isurveyor.com you will receive a list of contact details so that you can contact the property experts directly.
